Old Burner — AfterCore Protocol

Old Burner is an independent entity within the AfterCore universe — no faction, no protocol, no allegiance. A massive mutant figure carrying a flamethrower that has never run dry, existing at the edge of every conflict without belonging to any of them.

Sculpted in ZBrush at 75mm scale, designed for resin printing and fully presupported. The central design challenge was dissolving the boundary between organic and mechanical without relying on obvious cybernetic grafts. The fuel lines route directly into the tissue, the tank feeds the growth spreading across his torso and arm, and the toxic residue on the base extends that contamination to the ground beneath him. The tongue shifted the read of the face away from pure monster toward something more unsettling — a figure that was once human and has simply stopped caring.
