Rifleman 02 — AfterCore Protocol

The Rifleman 02 is another core unit of the Rustborn Militia's Infantry Squad — same doctrine, different posture. Where the first Rifleman holds a kneeling position, this one advances: upright, flexed, weapon at a mid guard, covering ground or a sector.

Sculpted in ZBrush at 32mm scale, designed for resin printing. The full tactical helmet with integrated visor and respirator was the defining character piece — complete head protection for toxic environments, no face exposed, identity fully subordinated to function. The leg strap system, loaded combat belt, and technical backpack feeding reinforced cables into the figure's systems required careful layering: each element had to read as independent gear while contributing to a coherent silhouette. The hand placement on the short-barrel weapon pulls the eye forward, reinforcing the cautious advance without tipping the pose into action. Fifth Mandate of Iron: metal does not lie.
