Infantry Doctor — AfterCore Protocol

The Infantry Doctor is the field medic and repair specialist of the Rustborn Militia — the figure that keeps both flesh and metal operational when the line starts to break. Sixth Mandate of Iron: repair or perish.

Sculpted in ZBrush at 32mm scale, designed for resin printing. The central design challenge was communicating urgency through posture: the forward-leaning stride had to read as purposeful movement, not static weight. The gas mask integrated into the reinforced helmet was the key character decision — functional, anonymous, hostile-environment ready. The medical kit with its mechanical texture detail and the customized assault rifle with exposed cables and components had to balance visual density without competing with each other or flattening the figure's silhouette. Weight distribution across the stride, the kit, and the weapon guides the eye through the action rather than anchoring it to a single point.
